CONNECTFLOOR is a lead-matching platform covering all flooring disciplines, connecting customers and businesses with independent, self-employed floorlayers and contractors (“Contractors”). The platform carries two kinds of opportunity: repair leads (customers or businesses needing a flooring repair) and flooring labour opportunities (businesses and companies posting a free labour requirement to find floorlayers and subcontractors). CONNECTFLOOR is not the contractor carrying out any repair or installation work, and is not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between a customer or business and a Contractor.

Any quote, price, scope of work, warranty, or guarantee is agreed directly between the customer or business and the Contractor. CONNECTFLOOR does not supervise, direct, or control the work performed.

Posting a repair job is free. You confirm that the information and photos you submit are accurate and that you are entitled to arrange repair work at the property.

Your contact details are hidden from contractors until a contractor pays to unlock the lead, or an active CONNECTFLOOR member accesses them as part of their membership. You are under no obligation to accept any quote or engage any Contractor.

Posting a labour requirement is free and no account is required. You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to post the requirement on behalf of your business.

Your company and contact details are not published openly on the platform. They are released only to active CONNECTFLOOR members, never to pay-as-you-go or free floorlayers, and never in return for an individual unlock fee.

CONNECTFLOOR membership is £29 per month (currently offered at a launch rate of £14.50 per month for the first 2 months, then £29 per month), billed by Stripe on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Membership grants unlimited repair lead unlocks, full access to company and contact details on flooring labour opportunities, and matching alerts. No individual unlock fee is charged to members for labour opportunities. Repair leads remain available to non-members on a pay-per-unlock (£15) basis.

Contractor accounts are reviewed and approved manually. Contractors must be appropriately insured, competent to carry out the work they accept, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Contractors act as independent businesses. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship with CONNECTFLOOR.

Contractors pay a flat fee of £15 per lead unlock, processed securely by Stripe. The fee grants access to the customer's contact details for that job only. It is not a commission, and it does not guarantee that the customer will respond, accept a quote, or award the work.

Unlock fees are non-refundable except where a lead is found to be materially inaccurate or fraudulent, at our discretion.

We carry out reasonable checks on contractor applications, but we do not warrant the quality, workmanship, qualifications, insurance status, or conduct of any Contractor. Listing on CONNECTFLOOR is not an endorsement or guarantee.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONNECTFLOOR is not liable for any loss, damage, defect, delay, injury, cost, or dispute arising from work carried out or quoted by a Contractor, or from any agreement between a customer and a Contractor. Claims relating to the work must be raised directly with the Contractor.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to a contractor is limited to the unlock fees paid for the job in question.

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a minimum volume of leads, or that any job will result in work.

You must not misuse the platform, submit false or duplicate jobs, scrape or resell lead data, or contact customers using details obtained other than through a paid unlock. We may suspend or remove any account that breaches these terms.

We process personal data in line with UK GDPR. Customer contact details are released only to a contractor who has paid to unlock that specific lead, or to an active CONNECTFLOOR member under their membership, and must be used only to quote for and carry out the requested work.
